Being Together

Guanyin, the Goddess of the South China Sea I don't want to fetch you down with love
and all its habitual
tortures
I just want to take
pleasure from your being
because pedastels
are such lonely places
besides it's nice
getting Earth all
over you

Magnolia & Fog in January

The fog moves in so quickly
you said it looked like the rest of the world
disappeared around us.

The Magnolia was bloming, just
Sunrise, Our Wedding Day two or three blossoms in January.
Marvel though it is, you say that
in Mississippi
these are called Japanese Magnolia,
outlandish.

Of course. Unlike native blooms
that respect season.

Understanding is overrated.
But if the rest of the world disappeared,
it would be just fine to be here in the fog
and Japanese Magnolia
with you.
