I'm not nostalgic. I had more fun in the
sixties than should be legal (and certainly some of it may not
have been). But, in my mind, the present (and the play) is the
thing, so life is even more wonder-full now. But, back
thenoh my! There's never been a more uproarious
epoch, nor one that produced such historically outstanding rock
music. I'm so delighted to have been a part and a player in
that extroardinary parade.
I published a substantial body of writing about
rock music, politics and culture during those years and into the
mid-seventies, and wrote a book about it, Trips: Rock Life in
the Sixties. Here are a list of some of the anthologies that
have included my work. There are also some previously unpublished
stories and odd personal memorabilia sprinkled around the page
as inconspicuous links. Happy hunting.
