Patricia Bowman, of the College English department is from Australia and has been teaching at Xiamen University for many years. She is a very sweet and tolerant lady, a true adventurer and a wonderful teacher. The sign she stands before thanks the rich benefactor for his contributions which built the temple and the statue of Matzu.
