Dolls
These were in the Temple Gift Shop and were unlike anything else for sale in the village. Dali people, like many Chinese, are pantheistic. They are Buddhist, Taoist, and worship local witchcraft and warrior gods and practice Confucianism. I don't know what tradition these dolls indicate but it is likely they are tokens of some sort of cultural observance.
